What separates Ugalde Trucking
from its competitors?
Ugalde Trucking strives to
conduct business in an honest and lawful manner. Aside from the
insurance we carry, we utilize a strict screening process for
all subhaulers to ensure that they have all required permits
licenses and insurance to protect our customers.
Ugalde Trucking owns bottom
trailers which are leased to owner-operators. We also use the
services of more then 100 “full-unit” owner-operators to ensure
our projects run smoothly. This gives us an advantage for
public-works projects requiring prevailing wage.
Fair treatment and timely payment
of all subhaulers allows us access to large numbers of
subhaulers. We can perform on small or large projects because
of our diversity.
What is the difference between
requesting an export price by the load versus renting trucks
hourly?
If Ugalde Trucking bids the work
by the load, we will arrange for material disposal for the
quoted price which can be difficult, especially in the Los
Angeles area. We will provide supervision of the haul and any
other quoted tools.
If trucks are rented hourly, it
is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of the material,
supervise the haul and determine cycle times and pay the trucks
accordingly.
Ugalde Trucking prefers to export
and import material so we can do what we do best and take some
of the risk from the customer. We strive to ensure that hauls
run smoothly and production is high.
In what areas does Ugalde
Trucking work?
We prefer to work locally, Los
Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. With
rising fuel costs, it is difficult to work outside of our
central location for regular rates.
